A NEW DESIGN - Cheaper and ....  in ALUMINIUM
The "EVENTIDE 1100".
The crises makes clients asking for a cheaper version of the "ATLANTIC 1100",  and so I started to work on a simpler version of this yacht. The first step is to give this yacht a transom with steps, so it's easier to go on board, and to work on the wind vane. (flapping the oar to the rest position, or to bring him in the water) The second was to give her tree chine's in stead of 4, and avoid the "V" drive configuration in the propeller shaft. To make the resistance of the underwater body less, the propeller shaft leaves the boat through the keel. The engine is mounted under the saloon table. So we can work all around the machine, only by taking of the site panels of this table... As well we can use a traditional propeller shaft and stern tube, lubricated with grease. Using the same ports (all under Lloyds class A) and the same deck hatches, in fact the outlook of the deck is nearly the same as the "ATLANTIC 1100". So she looks fine, has (with her 3.600 kg lead ballast) a stability up to 159 degrees, and is loosing entered water from the cockpit through the transom holes.  We called her "EVENTIDE 1100".
